That is Sooooo a T

Conversation between Emily and I while changing her diaper:

Emily (while holding Daddy's deodorant): "T...T...T"
Mom: "Where do you see a T?"
Emily: "T...T..."
Mom (looking at the deodorant and pointing): "Is that where you see the T? That says 'Speed St--'..."
Emily (while ripping it from my hands mid sentence): "T...T..."
Mom: "Yes Emily that is a T, but that T spells something"
Emily (while turning her head to look at me): "So"

Dinner Time "Y's"

Every night at our house dinner is brought to us by the letter "Y".

Yes we have come to love the letter "Y". The letter "Y" creates such wonderful words like "Yackety!" "Yes" and "Yahoo!"

But only at dinner time do we get to experience the best "Y" word ever. That's when we get the chance to make each bite of food even more delicious by accompanying it with a hearty "YUM!".

______________________________

So if that plate of meatloaf, mash potatoes, and green beans takes you 30 + bites to eat. Then yes, you will be repeating "yum" about 30 + times.

Can you say "YAY!"

The Princess' Guide to Surviving Snow Days

So what do you do when you're stuck inside because it's cold, icy, and snowy?

You...

Help your Mom work from home by always making sure you take care of her magnifying glass. After all, you never know when it will be in danger just sitting on the table. The best spot is always safely in your own hands.

But seeing how you are a very busy girl, I'm sure your Mom will understand why you ran off with it while she was using it.

You can also use the time to hone in on your skills with opening up drawers and making messes. After all, if you are bored, most likely your Mom and Dad are also bored and cleaning up will provide them with lots of fun.

And when your movie is done and you still can't go outside, don't fret. This is the perfect opportunity to discover how to press the "play" button. Then you can watch Word World over and over again. Mom and Dad won't even realize you have discovered their secret (too bad their real secret is the TV power button).

Now finish everything off with some good old fashion playing in the snow. But be sure to button up. It's cold out there!
