We have a new addition to our already crazy household and her name is Miss Abby.
She is a small rat terrier dog that we adopted about a week ago from a family that was moving and couldn't take her along. Initially we were worried about how everyone would get along, but on the first night Emily giggled while attempting to chase her through the living room, the cats actually stayed in the same room sniffing and watching, and Abby seemed to make herself right at home finding all of Emily's leftover food.
Now that I have an efficient vacuum cleaner, I do foresee in the future both Emily and her getting into a lot of trouble together. After all, everyone needs a good partner in crime.
