The Holiday's - Fast Forward Style

This year we switched things up a bit and stayed home for Thanksgiving. It was simple and quiet, but wonderful as we enjoyed the company of my family - Grandma, Grandpa Jim, and Uncle Jonathan.

We stuffed our faces full of delicious turkey, watched Cars 2, and enjoyed lots of great conversation.

For Christmas we loaded the car and headed down to San Antonio for 3 wild and crazy days with Richard's family. We left late on Christmas Eve with dog in tow (future post about that) and didn't arrive to San Antonio until midnight.

We attended Sacrament Meeting with Richard's parents and his entire family. And of course after it was over we had to have a photo op. Can you guess who is 2 year's old?

After church we opened up presents, and much like back at home with my family, Emily made out like a bandit.

A Vacuum Cleaner. Also From Grannie Annie and Pawpa

A Cash Register From My Dad - Grandpa and Grandma Sharon

After all the presents were opened, we spent the rest of the afternoon playing with toys and hanging out.

And when we got back home, we were shocked to find out how much we actually had come home with.

But even though we were tired...we still put the last of the toys together and enjoyed a wonderful evening of playing.

All in all Christmas was great and both of our families spoiled us tremendously. Now to look forward to another fabulous year full of great memories.

Happy New Year!!
