Santa's Visit 2013

The weekend before Christmas we made our first Santa trip. We were bubbling over with excitement so much that we could barely contain ourselves the night before...

9:30 pm - Bedtime, lights-out.
10:00 pm - Bedtime reminder, lights-out again.
10:15 pm - Another bedtime reminder, lights-out again.
10:30 pm - No reminder, stern look, lights-out.
11:00 pm - A few threats, lots of bedtime reminders, lights-out...again.
11:30 pm - Screams Reminders from the next bedroom. Lights-on? Lights-off? Who cares anymore.
11:45 pm - Mommy and Daddy's bedtime. Emily's bedtime? No clue.


Once she arrived she became star struck. It was Santa! Santa and Scooter (Mr. Elf) talked for a bit and then the all important question was asked.

Santa: "What would you like me to bring you for Christmas?"
Emily: "Toys."
Santa: "What kind of toys?"
Emily: "Red toys."

Ooookay. I'm thinking Santa must have been all out of "red" toys. Disney pink and purple he had plenty of. Red, not so much.

Sorry Emily, there must have been LOTS of requests for "red" toys.
