These past few weeks I have been working on a major project at work which has required me to stay late at the office on a number of occasions. Unfortunately for Emily, this has also meant that she had to join me for these "after-hour" ventures.
Now, I would be lying if I said that Emily minded all of her P's and Q's and quietly played in a corner by herself. Nope, instead my daughter is just like she is anywhere else - a non-stop climbing, exploring, and playing-with-anything-that-looks-enticing little girl. The only problem with this is the items in my office are not "Emily" proof. So my solution came to me one evening. Why torture myself and her when I can super size "fun". That's when the Ultimate TV entered the picture.
My office's training center is not only perfect for boring meetings and office lunches, it is also perfect for little girls and their Word World movies. Now Sheep, Bear, Dog, Frog and Duck come to life on the BIG screen.
The next step now will be to convince Emily that she doesn't have to stand 2" from the screen to see Sheep and Dog. However, I'm thinking that concept will take some time.
