This weekend we went out to buy Emily's first pair of sandals for the year. We tried on two cute pairs, but it wasn't until I put on a pair of jellies that Emily's heart started to flutter. She instantly saw the beauty in them and exclaimed softly to me "oohh prretty". From that moment forward, Emily and her shoes have been inseparable. She spent all afternoon and into the evening in them and she even HAD to go to sleep with them on. Even with blisters, she still loves being able to put them on and walk around. She will even proudly point them out as her "Jellies". For this 2 year old it's more than just "Puppy Love"...it's obviously "Jelly Love".
