Fredericksburg, Texas

This past weekend we went to Fredericksburg, Texas for what will probably be one of many trips to Richard's late Grandma's house. Although we would have much rather had better circumstances than going there to help clean out and renovate, the trip was a nice get away and more proof of how neat small towns can be.

Although Emily and I could only manage to get away for one afternoon, we did get to walk Fredericksburg Main Street and enjoy all the really cute shops, including eating fancy ice cream in a fancy shop on fancy chairs...

And then there were the local attractions, including one very friendly pony...

We even picked us up a new puppy (that's what's in that bag right there in her hand). His name of course is "Puppy". Hmm..speaking of Puppy, I should probably find him. I don't think he's eaten in a few days.

And when the "boredom bug" bit, Daddy was quick to provide Miss Cranky Bum with a new house...

It came fitted with 2 windows and a door...although I still disagree with the builder. It needed 3 windows at the very least. Maybe next time...
