On the 15th Emily had her first experience being babysat and I had my first experience returning back to work without her. Although I would have loved to take her with me, I had a meeting to attend and I was pretty sure that my boss would have not appreciated a fussy Emily also attending. Lucky for us Emily has so many extended family members near by that we called on the expert experience of Grandma.
The day was quite enjoyable for everyone. I loved the chance to dust off my old work cloths, fix up my hair, and put on a great pair of heels; and Emily of course ate up all the great "Grandma" attention she received.
The shocking part of the day was the fact that I didn't even call to check up on her once! I am such a big girl!! Thank you again Mom!!
