The Princess Has Arrived!

Emily Elizabeth Ewing has officially arrived!! On Sunday June 28 I arrived to the hospital over concerns of my blood pressure being too high and before we knew it I was being whisked away for an emergency c-section. Although my health appeared to be perfect, Emily started showing signs of stress and her heart beat was periodically dropping every time my uterus contracted. She officially entered the world at 5:38 p.m. weighing 4 lbs 3 oz and 17 ¾ inches long. Ever since she has arrived this small but mighty princess has been commanding plenty of attention from everyone around her.
